Jo-Ee graduated from the University of Liverpool and completed her Certificate of Legal Practice in 2018. She was called to the bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2020 and founded Yek & Co. in May 2020.
She is focusing in the legal area of Civil and General Litigation, Family Law in particular divorce matters and child custody matters. Her breadth of expertise also expands to the legal area of Estate Planning where she regularly advises individuals and families of various backgrounds relating to Will, Trust, Probate and Administration of Estate.
Currently, she is an active member of the Malaysian Bar serving under three (3) Malaysian Bar committees and has participated and won awards in the Tripartite Games organised by Sabah Law Society in 2019.
